Summary:
As part of our team, internship play a vital role at Bain Capital by ensuring significant projects and learning more about our investment strategies or operations. The main aim of this internship is to offer a comprehensive knowledge of the private equity, venture capital and credit thus enabling one to see how global investment firm operates.
Tasks:
- Investment Analysis: Conduct market researches, financial analysis and benchmarking for competitiveness as you assist in evaluating potential investments.
- Due Diligence: This covers analyzing financial statements, investigating market trends and summarizing findings during new investment reviews.
- Portfolio Management: Track performance metrics, prepare reports and participate in strategic discussions while helping monitor and manage portfolio companies.
- Financial Modelling: Create and maintain financial models that will predict company performance and assess impact of various strategic initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Take part in diverse projects under direct supervision of the senior staff taking advantage of their experience sharing advice on each step made.
Qualifications and Skills:
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Economics or Business Administration or any relevant field.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to use Excel proficiently and do financial modeling.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills; can clearly communicate complex information.
- High level accuracy & attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with teams/colleagues from other functions.
- You should possess proactiveness, self drive as well as multi tasking abilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong academic credentials along with genuine interest in working within finance. Preferably candidates who previously interned within finance or related areas though not mandatory. In addition internship should be able to commit themselves fully during the entire internship period and be prepared to work in an environment that is highly demanding and fast paced.
